Just in time for Christmas Richard Mille releases a new limited run of RM 07-02 sapphire crystal watches, in a lilac, mint and fuchsia.
Luxury watch maker Richard Mille has introduced four new vividly colourful variants of the RM 07-02 Automatic Sapphire series, which features transparent cases crafted from coloured sapphire. This high-tech and labour-intensive material combines aesthetic beauty with extreme durability each case can take over 1,000 hours just for the machining.
First debuted in 2015 the latest timepieces include two versions in lime green (two different versions), one in fuchsia and lilac.
Powered by the CRMA5 automatic movement with a variable-geometry rotor, it boasts 50 hours of power reserve and features baseplates and bridges in either 18-karat red gold or white gold that are hand-microblasted and chamfered and as an added extra the oscillating weight is decked in diamonds.
While no price has yet been disclosed, each version of the new RM 07-02 Automatic Sapphire will be limited to just seven examples.
