Louis Vuitton has become an official partner of Formula 1 as part of the 10-year LVMH global partnership agreement..
As Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025 it announced earlier this year a historic 10-year partnership with LVMH. As part of the deal, several of LVMH’s iconic Maisons will be involved in the partnership, including Louis Vuitton, Moët Hennessy and TAG Heuer. Thus far it has announced that TAG Heuer will return as the official timekeeper for F1 in 2025 for the first time since 2003 and now LVMH has announced what role Louis Vuitton will play.
Louis Vuitton’s first foray in its decade-long commitment with Formula 1 will be as title sponsors of the opening race in Melbourne from March 14-16 with the race officially renamed to FORMULA 1® LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025.
In addition to securing the naming rights for the Australian GP, Louis Vuitton will also be prominent with trackside signage and on the podium creating bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunks, designed to honor the top three drivers of each race. These elegant cases, featuring the house’s signature V monogram canvas, will incorporate a distinct colour scheme unique to each Grand Prix similar to that unveiled at the Monaco Grand Prix back in 2021.
