With an estimated to cost of $1 Trillion The Line a conceptual linear smart city in the Saudi Arabia desert is the brainchild of the visionary Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The $140 billion Hidden Marina is set to span 2.5 kilometers in length and rise 500 meters in height with a total built-up area expected to cover approx 21 million square meters making it larger than the already mightly Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
Standing at an impressive 500 meters the Hidden Marina will feature a fully integrated, vertical city comprising of 80,000 homes providing housing for 200,000 residents, 9,000 hotel rooms, retail spaces, and schools across three interconnected sections.




Designed by Austrian studio Delugan Meissl Associated Architects and global studio Gensler construction of the Hidden Marina has already begun with more than 140,000 workers currently engaged in the project’s construction.
