In collaboration with LEGO® GmbH, Silvrettaseilbahn AG and the Paznaun, the Austrian Ischgl tourist board have achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest gondola built from LEGO bricks..
Built using around 4000,000 LEGO bricks this impressive construction in the Pardorama mountain restaurant is perched at an altitude of 2,624 meters (8,609 feet), standing at 4.51 metres in height with a width of 2.43 metres. Built in over 11,000 modules by visitors to LEGO World in the Pardorama since 28 November 2024, the model is a striking replica of the Ischgl 3-S Pardatschgratbahn A2, type Taris, crafted by renowned cable car manufacturer Doppelmayr.
A unique feature which truly sets this gondola apart is the stunning window mosaics made from 24,576 Lego elements, these intricate artworks showcase iconic images of Ischgl.

The Guiness World Record was official announced on the 16th February 2025 by the official referee Seyda Subasi-Gemici. Speaking at the event Anna Kurz, Marketing Director of the Paznaun-Ischgl Tourism Association said “This Lego gondola isn’t just a world record, it’s a powerful symbol of what we can achieve together with our guests in Ischgl. It’s a shared experience that will be remembered for years to come.”
